RAZER™ ANALOG OPTICAL SWITCHES Gen-2
THE HEIGHT OF CONTROL
With the ability to measure the exact amount of light that goes through the switch stem, Razer™ Analog Optical Switches Gen-2 can detect how far a key is pressed instead of being restricted to a traditional binary input.

RAPID TRIGGER MODE
Lightning-fast Inputs with Variable Reset Points
Rapid Trigger Mode allows you to release and repeatedly press keys at a much faster rate than is physically possible on standard keyboards. With the ability to reset keys at the slightest lift of a finger, you’ll experience an advantage in speed that is especially useful for genres such as first-person shooters and rhythm games.
CHOOSE HOW YOU PLAY
With an actuation range of 0.1 to 4.0 mm, Razer™ Analog Optical Switches Gen-2 can be adjusted via Razer Synapse to meet your preference—offering different kinds of benefits at every height.
-
At shorter actuation heights, the switches become lighter and more responsive, making them ideal for game genres where reaction and speed are critical.
-
At medium actuation heights, the switches are a well-rounded option for general gaming as they offer a good balance of speed and weight.
-
At full actuation height, the switches require deeper keystrokes which can feel more solid and satisfying, especially for typing.
Finer Movement Control
If you’ve ever used an analog thumbstick or joystick, you’ll know how intuitive and nuanced in-game movement feels with that type of control—the more the stick is pushed, the faster you go or steeper the turn, and vice versa.
Razer™ Analog Optical Switches Gen-2 work in a similar way, so you are no longer restricted to the basic 8-way WASD movement found on traditional keyboards, and can instead enjoy smooth 360-degree motion that’s crucial for genres such as FPS, racing, and flight sims.

STREAMLINE YOUR ACTIONS
Razer™ Analog Optical Switches Gen-2 can register two actions in one keypress, cutting down on the number of inputs you need to make so that your execution is cleaner and quicker.
Unlike macros which lock you into a fixed series of actions, dual-step actuation provides more flexibility as you can delay or choose not to carry out the next action, so you can be more reactive to what’s happening.
