Rapid Trigger Mode allows you to release and repeatedly press keys at a much faster rate than is physically possible on standard keyboards. With the ability to reset keys at the slightest lift of a finger, you’ll experience an advantage in speed that is particularly crucial for FPS gaming.

THE FPS ADVANTAGE OF RAPID TRIGGER MODE

Razer esports keyboards with Rapid Trigger Mode allow key resets of up to 0.1 mm sensitivity, increasing responsiveness of in-game movement. This is especially useful for FPS games like Counter-Strike 2 and Valorant, which have mechanics that penalize accuracy while moving. Being able to get into a stationary position faster than your opponent significantly increases aim advantage for that perfect headshot.

HOW RAPID TRIGGER MODE WORKS

  • Traditionally, a switch needs to travel past a fixed actuation point for a keystroke to be registered.

    For the next keystroke to be made, the switch needs to first reset by travelling back up past its fixed reset point.

  • With Rapid Trigger Mode, this reset point is no longer fixed. Instead, the switch resets the instant it travels upwards once a keystroke is registered.

    This means that you can perform repeated keystrokes far more rapidly, as pressing the same key requires less key travel.

    In addition, Rapid Trigger Mode can be customized to be as responsive as you want, down to an ultra-fine sensitivity of 0.1 mm.

RAZER™ ANALOG OPTICAL SWITCHES

Razer Analog Optical Switches are perfect for Rapid Trigger Mode as they can register how far a key is pressed, rather than just the ON/OFF input of regular digital input keyboards. As they actuate through optical means, these switches are also unaffected by temperature or magnetic interference, ensuring lightning-fast inputs that are just as reliable.

HOW TO ENABLE RAPID TRIGGER MODE

For the Razer Huntsman V3 Pro line, you can enable Rapid Trigger Mode without Razer Synapse active using the hotkey Fn + Caps Lock. The keyboard will enter Rapid Trigger Adjustment Mode. Use the arrow keys or multi-function dial to adjust Rapid Trigger sensitivity, or press the Caps Lock key to toggle Rapid Trigger Mode on or off. Press the Esc key to exit Rapid Trigger Adjustment Mode and store the settings to the keyboard. Rapid Trigger Mode is not available on Factory Default profile.

In order for Rapid Trigger Mode to be used on the Razer Huntsman V2 Analog, Razer Huntsman Mini Analog or Razer Tartarus Pro, please ensure that you have the latest version of Razer Synapse running.
