Razer™ Low-Profile Optical Switches complement the form factor of our thinnest keyboards, providing better ergonomics compared to full-height switches. Their incredibly slim design translates to keys that sit lower on a keyboard for more natural hand and wrist positioning, allowing for long hours of use with little strain even without a wrist rest.

At just 1.2mm, it has the shortest actuation point in any Razer switch and offers a light, smooth switch feel that requires only 45g of actuation force. Silicon dampeners ensure a low noise profile and better acoustics, all while providing a solid feel when the keys are bottomed out.

Designed to provide satisfying tactile and audible feedback with every keystroke. Features a 1.5mm actuation height and requires only 50g of force for fast, effortless actuation—ensuring no finger fatigue during long hours of use.

As both types of switches are designed to reset before their actuation points, you’ll be able to instantly cue up and execute multiple commands on the same key without missing an input.

By using light to actuate, we eliminate bouncing found in traditional mechanical switches. As a result, the signal is sent the instant you actuate the key.

Tested to have a keystroke lifespan of at least 70 million, Razer™ Low-Profile Optical Switches outlast the industry standard by more than 40 percent. Unlike mechanical switches, optical switches have fewer physical contact points, which ensures far less wear and tear.
