  • How much RAM does the Razer Edge have?

    The Razer Edge Wi-Fi version has 6 GB, while the 5G version has 8 GB.

  • What is new about the G3x Gen 1 Platform?

    The Snapdragon G3x Gen 1 is a new gaming platform from Qualcomm. It features a new GPU built upon the Adreno 660 GPU. This new Adreno GPU features multiple optimizations for improved graphics, as well as higher clock speeds. The G3X Gen 1 chipset itself has been specifically designed and optimized for gaming via the new GPU, as well as paired with an active-cooling fan.
    This delivers not just high performance, but sustained performance, allowing users to game for hours with high quality graphics and high frame rates.

  • Which MicroSD cards are supported by Razer Edge?

    Razer Edge supports MicroSD cards up to 2TB in size formatted as FAT32. Support for exFAT-formatted MicroSD cards is planned for a future update.

  • Which apps and services come pre-installed on Razer Edge?

    Razer Edge comes preloaded with the Razer Nexus App, Xbox Game Pass, NVIDIA GeForce Now, Steam Link, Epic Launcher (for Fortnite & Rocket League Sideswipe), and Parsec. Additionally, because Razer Edge is fully Google certified, additional apps and games can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.

  • How do I know which games work natively with my Kishi V2 Pro controller?

    Razer Edge comes preloaded with Razer Nexus, which is Razer’s mobile gaming hub. In addition to providing a game launcher and controller management interface, it provides a detailed catalog of hundreds of controller-compatible games.

  • Does Razer Nexus require a subscription?

    No. Razer Nexus is 100% free and does not have any subscriptions. However, some of the games and services linked to from within the catalog in Razer Nexus may require a subscription.

  • Which apps and games support vibration with the Razer Kishi V2 Pro controller?

    For Android apps and games that natively support controller vibration, including most popular streaming services and emulators, Razer Kishi V2 Pro will automatically vibrate in the same way as a console controller.
    For select mobile games that do not include native vibration support, Razer Nexus uses HyperSense Haptics to dynamically create detailed vibrations from the games’ audio.

  • Do all games run at 144 Hz?

    No, not all games or services stream at 144 Hz, and many come with customizable settings. Make sure to check the settings.

  • Do I have to be connected to the internet or cellular to play games?

    While some games require an online connection, many native games will function offline.

  • My Kishi V2 Pro stopped responding to button inputs! Only the Razer Nexus button works.

    This is a known bug with the version of Razer Nexus preloaded on the Razer Edge. In certain situations, the Kishi V2 Pro controller will stop working. This can persist even if Razer Nexus is uninstalled or disabled.
    To fix this issue and prevent it from occurring, install the latest version of Razer Nexus from the Google Play Store. Then update your Razer Kishi V2 Pro controller's firmware from within Razer Nexus. The controller should work perfectly again.

  • I plugged my headphones into the headphone jack on the Kishi V2 Pro controller while playing a game, and my controller disconnected!

    This is a known issue with some apps and games on Android. Connecting 3.5mm headphones causes the controller to reconnect to your device. Some apps and games get confused when a controller disconnects and reconnects in the middle of a game.
    For maximum compatibility with affected games, connect or disconnect your wired headphones from the controller before starting the game.
    Bluetooth headphones are not affected by this issue.
