REDEFINING PRECISION WITH INTELLIGENCE

REDEFINING PRECISION WITH INTELLIGENCE

Single-minded in our pursuit of true gaming precision, our latest mouse sensor has the highest specs in the market, with a 99.6% resolution accuracy for best-in-class performance. But in this day and age, when there are more ways to make sensors accurate, being better by convention is not enough.

Teaming up with Pixart, an industry leader in smart sensor solutions, we’ve uncovered a breakthrough that’s set to redefine the standards of gaming accuracy—the new, intelligent functions of the Razer™ Focus+ Optical Sensor.

SMART TRACKING

For optimal gaming precision, older sensors need to be manually calibrated each time you switch to a new mouse surface. If they aren’t tuned, this causes the lift-off distance—the distance at which the mouse stops tracking when picked up—to be inconsistent, which affects your accuracy in-game.

With Smart Tracking, the Razer™ Focus+ Optical Sensor is able to automatically calibrate itself across different mouse surfaces, ensuring your lift-off distance—and accuracy—remains consistent.

ASYMMETRIC CUT-OFF

On top of the sensor’s lift-off distance, you can add another level of precision by using Asymmetric Cut-off to set its landing distance—the distance at which the mouse resumes tracking again. Ideally, you'd want this to be as low as possible so that less cursor drift occurs as your mouse touches the surface.

MOTION SYNC

On a granular level, when your PC extracts information from another sensor, it does so at a rate that doesn’t align perfectly with the signal the mouse sends out.

With Motion Sync, this intelligent function ensures that the Razer™ Focus+ Optical Sensor has a higher sensor responsiveness. By syncing its signals at the exact intervals your PC extracts information, you’ll get the most current updates of your mouse position for more consistent tracking.

SENSOR SPECS

26,000 DPI

DPI or Dots Per Inch, is how mouse sensitivity is measured—the amount of distance your cursor moves on screen.

So with 800 DPI, every inch your mouse moves translates to 800 dots on screen. As monitors increase in resolution, the Razer™ Focus+ Optical Sensor’s 26,000 DPI allows you to exert granular control even with the widest displays.

*Up to 26,000 DPI, as featured in the Razer Basilisk V3

650 IPS

IPS or Inches Per Second, is how mouse speed is measured. This translates to the maximum distance a mouse can cover per second before its ability to continue tracking is surpassed.

With 650 IPS, the Razer™ Focus+ Optical Sensor is more than able to keep up with your most intense mouse swipes—able to cover 54 feet in one second.
