DUAL DRIVER TECHNOLOGY

Compared to a traditional single driver approach, the advantage of a dual driver system is the ability to handle bass and mid to high frequencies separately—resulting in a more immersive audio experience with the music, movies and games you love.

DYNAMIC DRIVER

Perfectly suited for covering the low frequency range because it produces solid, realistic bass response.
This effect is achieved by displacing air through diaphragm movement—a technology commonly found in most speakers.

BALANCED ARMATURE DRIVER

Tuned to deliver optimal quality for midrange and treble—resulting in clear, precise sound filled with greater detail and nuance.
This effect is achieved through a coil positioned between two magnets that move its diaphragm rapidly.

THE PERFECT PAIRING

By themselves, both types of drivers have their own limitations. Dynamic drivers of lower quality can be prone to audio distortion at higher volumes, while balanced armature drivers lack bass response because they don’t generate sound by displacing air.

When paired together however, these limitations are offset to provide a fuller range of audio with superior clarity that neither driver can achieve alone.

REDUCED DISTORTION

An additional driver means clearer, louder audio because it's able to accommodate a greater audible range.

INCREASED EFFICIENCY

Advanced filtering leads to extra sound quality because each driver is dedicated to its own specific frequency range.

ALREADY OPTIMIZED

All our dual driver devices have crossover network circuitry installed, which means there’s no need to buy extra adapters and cables to get it working.
